As a local charity providing free weekly classes taught by professionals, the band relies on donations, grants and paid gigs or busking. Without this, the band will not be able to continue or perform to the public at events.

In addition to the whole band, we can now offer a smaller section of the band for hire. This 'mini' Harlow Steelband currently consists of 6 of our most skilled players, who have all been playing steelpans for 10+ years! This band enables Harlow Steelband to cater for all events and budgets. So far they have performed at pub charity quizzes, local schools and the harlow christmas light switch on
